Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation today reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $1.41 billion, or $5.41 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2010, compared with a net loss of million, or per diluted share in the first quarter of 2010, and net income of $155 million, or $0.60 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2009.
